Home Information Packs have been suspended indefinitely as of 21st May 2010 until such time that a bill is passed repealing the law relating to HIPs to dispense with them entirely

Until 21st May 2010 a Home Information Pack (HIP) was a mandatory part of selling any property placed on the market since 14 December 2007.

As residential property specialists, we produce a HIP for any clients who feel that having this information available to prospective purchasers might improve their chances of a quick and straightforward sale.

By commissioning an independently produced HIP, clients also have the advantage that their HIP is easily portable if they wish to change estate agents or to switch from an estate agent to marketing their property themselves.
